Creating quirky animations for an engagement campaign
ING is a global financial institution with a commitment to excellent service. Their more than 52,000 employees offer retail and wholesale banking services to customers in over 40 countries. Soap Creative, an Australia-based digital agency that brings brands and consumers together through play, engaged us to create animations for this campaign.
Develop fun and engaging animations to be used as part of a Soup Creative interactive campaign aimed at increasing ING Direct customer interactions with the bank, beyond financial transactions.
Using ING Direct's slogan of ‘Spend your life well’ as a starting point, our team of animators developed dozens of humorous animations based on the quirky character.
Both ING Direct and Soap were thrilled with the results. Australian ING customers engaged with the bank like never before with over 122,000 unique visitors at 5:55 min per visit, with 23% of visitors returning for more engagement. We're happy to have played a part in making this campaign so successful!
