For our first holidays gif series, we took Halloween from scary to quirky. In the first instance we can see a client running from the grim, wich represents the DEADlines (word play alert). In the second scene the table has turned, showing a team of wacky characters persuing the grim.
Along the concepts process, the idea mutated quite a bit, going from a team of firemen attacking the grim with their fire hose to the final result of the magical team. This changes can be seen in the images below.

To make this gif we used a combination of Adobe illustrator and Adobe Animate,  whose capabilities suited the needs for this animation.
